I am an artist, painter, muralist and I want to show you what I can contribute to the art scene.
I am influenced by urban culture, graffiti, animation, animals and complex characters.

Edison Rojas

When opportunity knocks ...lend him a wall! Recently I was spoiled with the company of Edison Rojas, a seriously talented Vancouver based muralist who dropped by and rocked an amazing "Ear" Piece on a wall in my studio. Edison's smooth skills and chill personality made a simple Sunday afternoon of spray painting an experience I'll never forget.

Elaborate Hallucination

Photographer Gordon Ross has a newly opened gallery/studio in Courtenay BC. The space has undergone some retro chic changes and I was in charge of the hallway project. Gordon asked for a welcoming connection between the gallery and the studio. I updated a dark grungy hallway with burgundy red walls with a fresh coat of interior paint and added some flower power with Montana Gold spray paint on the walls and floor continuing it into the bathroom. The transformation is a bright flowing entryway with energy and character. A little bit of mood lighting to finish it off and the party begins! A Sign Of Urban Life A Modern Twist On A Traditional Favourite

You’ve often heard the phrase “ What’s your sign? ”. The cultural phenomenon of the astrology signs continue to influence today’s society. From newspapers to the internet we are entertained by the profound forecasts of our future. It is made up of personalities and characteristics we can relate to.
In my series titled A Sign of Urban Life, I present the traditional astrology signs with a modern twist. This is my interpretation of the way these generalized symbols may relate to the issues of today. I encourage my audiences to personalize themselves with the images and find their own truths. And I also believe you don’t have to be particularly interested in astrology to enjoy the composition of each piece; you may just appreciate it for how it speaks to you.

John owner of Whitebird Lounge Victoria BC has the perfect ultra modern venue to display my style of art, especially for it's prime downtown location. Whitebird is full of urban culture featuring resident dj's, delicious foodie food, amazing street fashion clothing and recently a full service hair studio. This summer I jumped at the chance to do my very own show with the opening night on June 12th to the first week of August. Thanks to John and his staff I received some flattering complements and my paintings found some fashionable new homes!
